THE TINLEY PARK CONVENTION CENTER recently completed a major expansion giving meeting, convention and event planners over 58,000 sq. ft. Of clear span exhibit space, 18 breakout rooms and a 202-room hotel to satisfy their convention and event requirements. As the largest convention facility in the south and southwest suburban region, the Illinois Republican Party has opted to host its 2012 State Convention at the expanded Tinley Park Convention Center.
Additional hotels located in Tinley Park are west of 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue and at I-80 and LaGrange Road (96th Avenue).
Tinley Park is home to the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, a 30,000-seat outdoor music venue bringing the top names in popular music to the Chicago metro region every year.
